Jeep-a company known for building a vehicle that can go anywhere in the dirt, has been pretty crazy recently with more than a few Tamer Special Edition that rival the remaining numbers in the Jeep Lineup itself. We're not sure as the rest of the Tamer Special Edition but their latest one seems to conjure up images of a jeep classic plain Jane. 2001 Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler Edition is the latest attempt Jeep no-frills bare bones off road machine.Jeep gain traction as the first civilian Jeep vehicles ("CJ") – the Willys-Overland CJ-2A-achieve the public in 1945. Based on the Wrangler sport models, Willys Wheeler Edition features upgraded hardware, including Dana 44 rear axle with Trac-Lok ® limited-slip rear differential and 3.73 gears, tires BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM LT255/75R17, rock Rails and a Jeep Trail Rated new Kit that includes a D-Ring, tow straps and gloves in the pockets of the Jeep brand. This Jeep's command-Trac 4 x 4 work part-time, two-speed transfer case with a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio to give the Jeep Wrangler Willys Edition Wheeler off-road chops are enhanced.

Willys Wheeler editions come standard with a soft Sunrider top and rear window sunscreens deep-color. Premium Sunrider soft top and black splatter over freedom available. Willys Wheeler Edition have group connectivity with SiriusXM satellite radio, and model-based Sport S have Power convenience Group and Premium Tire Pressure Monitoring System as standard. The iconic Jeep Wrangler half doors are an option.

Engine Performance
Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler Edition features award winners 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine that produces 285 horsepower and 260 ft.-lbs. or torque. It is available with a standard six-speed manual or the available five-speed automatic transmission and provide up to 21 miles per gallon on the highway.
